I have always wanted to do a charity run for a good cause, but I have always found myself an excuse. Therefore delaying my passion and the desire to challenge myself.
This year I have put my mind to it and i am training a few days a week, so there is no going back! My confidence and self-esteem is growing after every run while my husband is by my side, supporting me fully.
I have never ran for a charity cause before, so I am so excited and determined to complete this run, and the tasks I have been delaying for the past years. This run is in late May and to prepare my physical self, I have adapted to a training routine best suited for my ability and skills. Meanwhile, mentally I am motivated and dedicated to succeed and eager to achieve my personal best. I manifest this significant day frequently to make myself believe that I really can do this and to stop any unconscious doubts or fears I may have.
I am thrilled to take part!!

I was so nervous before the race began as this was my first time and i didn’t want to let all the people down who had conbtributed towards my cause. There was so many hills and i was worried i wouldn’t be able to finish the race .The spectators were great and gave all the runners plenty of encouragement throughout the course. It was the best feeling in the world when i crossed the line and all the hard work had paid off. There were cancer survivors there with there families and it made me feel so privileged that i was able to contribute in any way, and realised how lucky i was to be healthy .It was a tremendous day with so many people sponsoring the event including heart fm who did a fabulous job with entertainment and food stalls available for the many spectators..I was able to raise £160.00p for cancer research and i can’t wait to do this again next year. Once again i would like to thank all the people involved
